A sensor provide a list of named sensitivity spectra, which will convert spectral simulation result to integrated channel values. For instance, CIE XYZ observer spectra will be used for generating absolute colorimetry pictures. Various other data can be generated : eye cell response, spectral pictures using bucket channels, energy...


CIE XYZ

Summary

This sensor uses the CIE 1931 2° Standard Observer response functions, and generates three channels X, Y and Z. It is used for most image renderings, as well as for photometry applications (as the Y channel corresponds to the standard luminance).

Energy

Summary

This sensor has a single energy response function. It generates sensor irradiance values in watt per square meter. It is equivalent to a custom sensor with a uniform spectrum of value 1

Spectral box

Summary

This sensor defines evenly spaced, square bucket response functions, which allow generating spectral density data.
