# Output file formats¶

When a simulation has been performed, it may be saved or exported to various formats listed below.

## Ocean RAW¶

This format allows changing post-processing parameters and doing measurements (photometry, etc...) as if the simulation had just finished.

See Ocean RAW format for more details

## Images¶

Simulations may be saved as images of various types. See Image file formats for a detailed list Rendered images may also be copied to the clipboard from preview tabs.

Simulation values can be saved to spreadsheets using the .ods format. These can be opened in various software, such as OpenOffice Calc, LibreOffice Calc, or Microsoft Excel 2007 and later.
Simulation values can be saved to comma separated value .csv text files. If multiple channels are present, one file by channel is written, with the channel name inserted between the file name and the extension.
