Filter This filter fixes the high noise level caused by the equirectangular projection at the upper and lower parts of spherical renders. The image is filtered anisotropically following the pixel/solid angle projection differential. This ensure uniform resolution and noise levels when projected back on a sphere.

Input and output

  • Accepts any channel list as input

  • Output channels are the same as input.

  • Does not alter the buffer dimensions

  • Removes denoising meta-data
