Scattering This model follows the Henyey-Greenstein phase function:

\[p(\theta) = \frac{1-g^2}{4 \pi \cdot (1+g^2-2 g \cdot cos(\theta))^{3/2}}\]

The parameter g, between -1 and +1, determines the relative strength of forward and backward scattering. Positive values of g give forward scattering, and negative values give backwards scattering. A value of g=0 corresponds to isotropic scattering.
