Objects toolbox¶

This toolbox gives access to the scene objects. Each object is displayed by its name and a type icon.
Some objects names are in bold : this means they have been modified since the scene was opened.
Organizing objects with folders¶
Click on the button on the top of the toolbox and on
to create a new folder.
You can drag and drop objects between folders to organize them.
Internally, Ocean handles folders by appending a slash separated prefix path in object names. For instance, if you move a concrete material into a building-materials folder, the object will be renamed to building-materials/concrete. This is visible in the Scene formats
Renaming an object¶
To rename an object, select it first, then click on its name. This opens an editor. Two objects of the same kind (e.g materials) cannot have the same name.
Editing an object¶
Double clicking on an object opens it in a new object tree editor tab in the main window.
You may also right click on the object, and click Edit
